Memorial Garden

It is an honor for Piqua City Schools to present this Memorial Garden to the families of loved ones and our community at large.  The purpose of this garden is to remember Piqua City Schools students who passed away prior to graduating from the Piqua High School campus since the Piqua High School opened in 1981.  When several of our elementary buildings closed in 2015, student memorials were removed from those grounds to protect them from being damaged.  This garden provides one location with a consistent format for us to honor and remember the lives of these students that we will never forget.  We would like to thank the Piqua Police Department, Piqua Community Foundation, Piqua Education Foundation, and Piqua City Schools for funding this project.  We would also like to thank Lillicrap Timber and Mulch for designing and installing the garden, Erich Heidenreich and Vicki Williams for etching the bricks, and Quint Creative Signs for designing and installing the sign. Finally, thanks to the students of PHS for their commitment to caring for this garden.
