The Piqua City School District 2022 Board of Education
Piqua City Schools' elected Board of Education consists of five members, each serving a four-year term. The Board is the governing body elected by the citizens of the school district to be legally responsible for the education of the children of the district. In 2022, those include Kelly McMaken, 2022 President, Sean Ford, 2022 Vice President, and members Clint Bostick, Steve Frazier, and Sean Mitchell.
Regular monthly meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted). All meetings will be held at the Piqua City School District Board of Education Central Office, 215 Looney Rd., Piqua, Ohio 45356. Workshops or other meetings where no action (without prior notice) is taken may also be scheduled for the Board of Education Central Office. All meetings are open to the public and citizens are encouraged to attend. Minutes are available through the official record kept by the Treasurer.
Board of Education Meetings for 2023 are scheduled as follows: January 25, February 23, March 23, April 27, May 18, June 22, July 20, August 24, September 21, October 19, November 16, and December 14.
The Piqua Board of Education maintains membership/representation in: Ohio School Boards Association, Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce, GrowPiquaNow, Southwestern Ohio Educational Purchasing Cooperative, Ohio High School Athletic Association.
