Board of Education

Piqua City Schools' elected Board of Education consists of five members, each serving a four year term. The Board is the governing body elected by the citizens of the school district to be legally responsible for the education of the children of the district. In 2021, those include:   Clint Bostick, 2021 President, Kelly McMaken, 2021 Vice President, and members Sean Ford, Steve Frazier, and Andy Hite.
 
Regular monthly meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted). All meetings will be held at the Piqua City School District Board of Education Central Office, 215 Looney Rd., Piqua, Ohio  45356.   Workshops or other meetings where no action (without prior notice) is taken may also be scheduled for the Board of Education Central Office.  All meetings are open to the public and citizens are encouraged to attend. Minutes are available through the official record kept by the Treasurer. 
 
Board of Education Meetings for 2021 are scheduled as follows:  January 28, February 25, March 25, April 22, May 20, June 22, July 20, August 26, September 23, October 21, November 18, and December 9. 

 
The Piqua Board of Education maintains membership/representation in: Ohio School Boards Association, Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce, GrowPiquaNow, Southwestern Ohio Educational Purchasing Cooperative, Ohio High School Athletic Association.
