The Piqua City School District 2022 Board of Education
Piqua City Schools' elected Board of Education consists of five members, each serving a four-year term. The Board is the governing body elected by the citizens of the school district to be legally responsible for the education of the children of the district. In 2024, those include Sean Ford, 2024 President, Steve Frazier, 2024 Vice President, and members JoJo Marrs, Kelly McMaken, and Sean Mitchell.
Regular monthly meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted). All meetings will be held at the Piqua City School District Board of Education Central Office, 215 Looney Rd., Piqua, Ohio 45356. Workshops or other meetings where no action (without prior notice) is taken may also be scheduled for the Board of Education Central Office. All meetings are open to the public and citizens are encouraged to attend. Minutes are available through the official record kept by the Treasurer.
Board of Education Meetings for 2024 are scheduled as follows: January 25, February 22, March 28, April 25, May 14, June 27, July 18, August 22, September 16, October 21, November 14, and December 12.
The Piqua Board of Education maintains membership/representation in: the Ohio School Boards Association, Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce, GrowPiquaNow, Southwestern Ohio Educational Purchasing Cooperative, and Ohio High School Athletic Association.
