Board of Education
Piqua City Schools' elected Board of Education consists of five members, each serving a four year term. The Board is the governing body elected by the citizens of the school district to be legally responsible for the education of the children of the district. In 2017, those include:  Frank Patrizio, President, Steve Greggerson, Vice President, and members Clint Bostick, Andy Hite and Bob Luby
Regular monthly meetings are held each month at 6:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) at rotating locations. Workshop or other meetings where no action (without prior notice) is taken may be scheduled for the Board of Education Administrative Offices, located at 719 E. Ash Street, Piqua, Ohio. All meetings are open to the public and citizens are encouraged to attend. Minutes are available through the official record kept by the Treasurer.
Board of Education Meetings for 2017 are scheduled as follows:  January 25 (Washington Primary), February 23 (Piqua Central Intermediate), March 30 (Springcreek Primary), April 26 (Piqua Junior High), May 25 (Piqua High School), June 13 (Board of Education Office), July 27(Board of Education Office), August 31 (Springcreek Primary), September 28 (Washington Primary), October 19 (Piqua Central Intermediate), November 16 (Piqua Junior High), and December 14 (Piqua High School).  A work session will be held on November 12, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the OSBA Annual Meeting in Columbus.
The Piqua Board of Education maintains membership/representation in: Ohio School Boards Association, Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce, GrowPiquaNow, Southwestern Ohio Educational Purchasing Cooperative, Ohio High School Athletic Association, and SOITA (Southwestern Ohio Instructional Technology Association).

Frank Patrizio, 2017 President, Phone 773-1312; PHS Graduate; Attended the University of Dayton where he obtained his B.S. in Finance in 1988. From there he attended the Ohio State University College of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 1991.  He joined the firm McCulloch, Felger, Fite, and Gutmann in 1991.  Married, three children.
