3rd Grade "Clap Out"
In keeping with tradition,  third grade students exited the building on their last day of school walking through the halls filled with students and parents clapping for them.
Jump 4 the Heart
Mr. Leffel led students in his physical education classes to raise money for the American Heart Association, by participating in the "Jump 4 the Heart" program

Character Counts - Fairness
An assembly was held on May 28th to recognize students who demonstrated the character trait 'fairness'.

Students in K-Kids sponsored an Easter Coloring contest. 
Buckeye Insurance Business Partnership
When an employee celebrates a birthday at Buckeye Insurance our students get a special treat! 
April - After School Nature Hour Program
Students who participated in April's after school nature hour program learned about 'The Food Chain". 
Public Tours of the NEW Springcreek Primary School
On Sunday, April 27th the public was invited to tour the construction site of the new Springcreek school.  Students in the Jr. Builders program led the public tours. 
Madcap Puppet Show
Madcap Puppets performed for Springcreek students on Wednesday, April 16th.

Character Counts
Third Grade Students presented a skit to introduce our new Character Trait, TRUSTWORTHINESS on Monday, April 7th.  Also during the assembly students were given rewards for demonstrating our previously learned character trait ~ CARING  
3rd Quarter Awards
An Awards Assembly was held on Tuesday, April 8th to recognize students who earned awards during the 3rd Quarter of school. 
2nd Grade Muse Machine Program
2nd Grade Students participated in the Muse Machine - Artist in Residence Program in April.
 Students performed for their family and friends on Thursday, April 10, 2014.
Kids on the Block
Third grade students participated in a program sponsored by the Miami Valley Regional Center. The purpose of the program is to teach students tolerance and acceptance of students with all types of disabilities. 
Character Counts!
First grade students introduced a new character trait to the whole school on Friday, March 14th. 
Owl Pellets
Third grade students enjoyed a program provided by Brukner Nature Center. Students learned about unique characteristics of owls. They also learned about the food chain - by disecting owl pellets. 
Optimist Youth Appreciation Award Winner
Jordan Slife, a third grader in Mrs. Everett's room,  was nominated and selected to win the Optiist Youth Appreciation Award. 
Dancing With the Stars - Father -Daughter, Mother- Son Dance
To raise funds for the Piqua Arts Council, Students and Parents were invited to attend a Father-Daughter, Mother-Son Dance on Friday, March 7th, 2014. 
"Hat Day"
Students donated .50 cents to wear hats on Wednesday, February 12th.   The money is being donated to the Lukemia and Lymphoma Society through the Pennies for Patients project.
Twin Day
To help raise money for our Pennies for Patients project Springcreek held a 'Twin Day".  Students were asked to donate .50 cents to dress like twins. 
January - After School Nature Hour Program
The Miami County Park District sponsored our monthly after school Nature Hour. Those students participating learned about nature's "Superheroes"!

Spelling Bee
Two Springcreek third grade students particpated in the City of Piqua Spelling Bee!
Thanksgiving = Pumpkin PIe!
To celebrate Thanksgiving, students gathered in the cafeteria for a special Thanksgiving treat - Pumpkin Pie! 
Fundraiser Fun!
We recently completed two fundraisers at the school.  Students had several goals to meet!  When those goals were accomplished they got to participate in some fun rewards! 
K-Kids Service Project
Third grade students in the K-Kids Club joined together on Saturday, November 16th to help with several projects at Greene Street Church! 
First Grade Field trip
First grade students took a trip to Charleston Falls to learn about animal habitats. 
First Quarter Awards
An assembly was held for each grade level on Thursday, Nov 7th.

Mrs. Anderson was able to tour the building site on Monday, November 4th. A lot of progress has been made! It is amazing how much has been completed! 
Piqua Vs Troy Pep Rally at Springcreek!
Cheerleaders, football players and band members traveled to Springcreek to 'HYPE' up students for the annual Piqua VS Troy Football rivalry!! 
National Red Ribbon Week
Students celebrated National Red Ribbon Week by wearing RED! 
Springcreek named an Ohio School of Promise
Springcreek Primary School has been names a 2012-2013 School of Promise by the Ohio Department of Education. 
Third Grade Field Trip
Students in Third grade enjoyed a field tip to Charleston Falls. 
October Newsletter
The October Springcreek Newsletter contains information about events at Springcreek. It also provides information about upcoming events. 
Construction Project Update - October 2013
Construction on the new building continues to be ahead of schedule! 
The Piqua Kiwanis Club sponsors a 'K-Kids' club at Springcreek Primary School. 
The Jr. Builders Program
In collaboration with Gilbane construction company, a Jr.l Builders Program was formed. 
Bus Safety Program
State law requires students to have school bus safety training within the first six weeks of school. Students participated in a school wide assembly with 'Buster' the robotic school bus.
