6th Grade Field Trip
Mad River Mountain
The whole 6th grade from Bennett Intermediate went on a once in a life time field trip to Mad River Mountain ski/snowboard Resort. The trip included an all-day lift ticket, ski/snowboard rental, and a one hour group lesson. This trip is linked to a variety of physical education standards. For example, standard six states: Values physical activity for health, enjoyment, challenge, self-expression, and or social interaction. This trip gave the opportunity to reach all of these goals for our students. We are thrilled that we had the opportunity to provide this exciting adventure and learning experience for them. This field trip was made possible through a grant from PEF.
