The excitement is building, the classrooms are ready, and our teachers and staff are counting down the minutes! The first day of school is almost here! ✏️ The first day of school is September 8th!

We can’t wait to welcome our students back and fill our schools with smiles, laughter, learning, and endless possibilities.

Indian Days - Open Houses

Indian Days have been scheduled to allow students and parents to visit the school of your child’s attendance to pick up schedules and other important information needed to have a great start to the new school year. The dates and times are listed below.

School Supply List

As we get ready for an exciting 2026–2027 school year, all students in Kindergarten through 12th grade will need the following essential supplies:

✏️ Ticonderoga wooden pencils
🎧 Kindergarten–3rd Grade: Headphones with a 3.5mm jack
🎧 4th–12th Grade: Proper-fitting earbuds with a 3.5mm jack
🎒 Backpack

School Fees & Lunch Information

As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, please take a moment to review the following information:

💰 School Fees
School fees for the 2026–2027 school year are $35.00. Fees can be paid during Indian Days or online through the district website.

🍎 School Lunch
We are excited to share that lunch will be free for all students attending Piqua City Schools during the 2026–2027 school year! Students who would like to purchase additional items may add money to their student account on PaySchools

Students in Kindergarten through 12th grade can purchase a student pass for just $31.20. This pass provides admission to all home regular-season sporting events throughout the school year!

First Quarter Important Dates

September 8th: First day of school
October 15th: 2 hour early dismissal
October 15th: K-12 Parent/Teacher Conferences by appointment
October 30: End of first quarter
