Welcome to the Piqua Junior High School Counseling Department. My name is Lisa Butt and I am the School Counselor for 7th and 8th grade students. As your student's school counselor, I am concerned for the educational, emotional, and social development of all students in relation to their total school experience. Students can receive counseling by teacher/staff referral, students may also refer themselves, or a parent/guardian may request counseling for their child. Counseling whether individual or classroom guidance is a way to encourage life long learners.
I work closely with students and teachers to maximize each student's academic and personal development. Other services include:
