Student Announcement Friday February 23, 2018

Seniors: The date has been changed for you to turn in your baby pictures and Senior pictures.  The new date is April 2nd.   This gives you the opportunity to have your picture taken over Spring break.


Seniors:  If you need your senior picture taken for the yearbook, the Media class can take your picture for you during 5th period.  Please contact Mr. Skeans or make an appointment in the main office.  Remember you now have until April 2nd to turn your pictures in!


If you enjoy fantasy, adventure, and fun, you're going to love PHS's new Dungeons & Dragons Club!  We'll meet today after school in room 207, Ms. Ferncez's room, until 3:30.


Student Council will be hosting a Lip Sync/Air Band Contest the day before Spring Break.  If you would like to participate, sign up with Mrs. Allen in Room 106.  Music is due Friday, March 16, and your group will have a mandatory practice after school on Tuesday, March 20.  Costumes and creativity are encouraged.  Watch Lip Sync Battle for ideas.


Student Council will have a meeting after school on Tuesday, February 27 to plan the Lip Sync/Air Band Contest.

CBI will be selling meat sticks in the commons during lunch next week. Cost is $1 Get them before they are gone!


Any sophomores or juniors who are interested in applying for National Honor Society should attend an informational meeting in Mr. Neary's room after school today.


Any student attending the UVCC next year, Andrew Snyder will be at the high school at 12:30 pm today.  Please report to the CPA for a question and answer session.


Any student interested in taking CCP classes at Edison will have the opportunity to take the Accuplacer at PHS on March 21st at 12:30.  You must have an application and transcript to test.  Stop down and sign up in the guidance office.  


All juniors will be taking the ACT on either February 27th or 28th.  To find out your testing date and location, go to the guidance window in the guidance office, or ask your English teacher.  You must bring a photo ID on test day. 


Here is what is considered a valid photo ID:

It must be current/valid

Has the student's first and last name on it

The photo is clearly recognizable as the examinee

Acceptable ID's are:  Driver's License, passport, school ID, or state ID


Tennis players are reminded conditioning begins on Monday at 3:00 in the small gym at the Jr. High School.


Anyone interested in participating in Spring Track, there is a mandatory parent athlete meeting Monday Feb 26 at 6:30 – 7:30pm  in the CPA.

Boys soccer team will have a meeting today after school in the library in place of the scheduled work out. Please make sure you’re there to get this important information.

The boys basketball team will be playing their first tournament game tonight against Springboro at Trotwood. Game time is at 5:30. Come out and help the Indians get a tournament win against the Panthers.


All of Mrs. Pace's classes will report to her classroom today.
