Principal's Message

Welcome to Washington Primary!

Welcome Washington Primary Families!

We are very excited to begin the 2023-2024 school year!   At Washington Primary we take great care to create a safe and welcoming environment where learning is engaging.  We encourage children to think critically and creatively and to express themselves socially through respect for themselves and others.  Our students will learn so much during their years with us at Washington.  From the foundational skills in reading, writing, and math to the fine arts, physical education, technology, science, and social studies, we hope you enjoy talking with your child about their day and all that they have learned here at school.  It is a joy to see the world through a child’s eyes!

We value you as your child’s first teacher and you are an integral member of our learning community.   We look forward to working collaboratively with you to ensure growth and success for our students.   Please  contact us if you have any questions or if there is anything we can do to support your child’s growth and development.

We welcome new staff members to the Piqua family at Washington Primary this year:
